Referrer Spam

I have the Wassup traffic plugin installed in my site. Recently I’ve been getting what it describes as referrer spam, where the traffic comes from the same site (ESPN) and goes to the same product on my site. So what can i do to fix this? I have antivirus for WP installed, but it isn’t picking up anything, and I didn’t leave any link or anything on ESPN’s site to that product. What’s also strange is the sites on ESPN are web pages that I recently visited.
