Referenced AMP URL is not an AMP

Dear support,
Search Console reports this error:
Referenced AMP URL is not an AMPThe reason is that AMP pages have a canonical link to the non-AMP page URL.
Esample:
view-source:https://test.com/article1/amp/
Contains:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://test.com/article1" />Any idea why?
Is this a plugin setting or a conflict with another plugin?Thanks

I just checked your site and it seems that there is no validation error (https://search.google.com/test/amp?id=9WiyfS097vsR8nzWBtI4iQ).
On AMP page, canonical should have non-AMP URL because it is a referencing URL for Google.
Generally Google fetches any AMP version from amphtml and not from canonical, so canonical should be same for both AMP and Non-AMP pages.
