Referees customization

    Hello everyone,

    I am looking into this plugin to support a referee assignment site. The superadmin would assign the crew chief and up to two assistant referees. Upon assignment, the site would email the assigned referees who would then accept or decline the game and email notify the superadmin. I have some decent PHP knowledge to do basic customizations but was curious if someone can point me in the right direction for:

    1. Pulling the Referees from the WordPress users rather than the plugin’s official database.

    2. Allow the referees to accept or decline a game only their game(s) after logging into WordPress.

    3. Generate the notification emails.

    I have been looking into Advanced Custom Fields which looks promising for some of this.

    If SportsPress is capable of doing what we need (with some of these customizations), I would be happy to upgrade to Pro.

    Hi @jdavidh ,

    If this is a kind of pre-sale question then the appropriate place for discussion is our Premium Support.

    The referees/officials (sp_official) are a Custom Post Type of SportsPress. I am sure there should be a way to sync CPT and users but is far away the scope of those WP support forums. If you find a way to sync users with sp_official CPT, then you can create a workflow with some triggers for the notifications.
