Reducing "Padding" Space Between Widgets and in Header

  • I’m using the Polished theme and am trying to eliminate some dead space to get more above the fold. Here’s my site: http://disneytouristblog.com

Two areas I’ve noticed that are taking up more space than they should are the area above the header (notice all the dead space?) and between widgets and posts. I’ve done some searches and the general style.css suggestions for changing the spacing haven’t worked. I’m guessing there’s something unique to my theme that I need to change. Can anyone assist in letting me know what I need to edit.

I’d also like to decrease the font size for post titles on the main page.

    Thanks in advance!

    what exactly have you tried?

have you tried to reduce the top padding in the #header style, for instance?

are you working with a browser tool such as Firebug or a similar tool to identify which styles are involved?

I’m guessing there’s something unique to my theme

if it is theme specific, please contact the seller of your commercial theme for support.
