 * My site has become extremely slow. The reason seems to be that the database has
   grown to a few hundred thousand lines. I display 10 days and have no need for
   retaining more than that. How can I reduce the size of the database?

 * Hi fergus440,
    thanks for your comments.
 * You can restrict datatable size settings this values on Statcomm->options
 * Also collect data about logged users
    Do not collect spiders visits Automatically
   delete visits older than… (by default is no limit, set 1 month or 1 week) Automatically
   delete spiders older than…(by default is no limit, set 1 month or 1 week)
 * Also there is an issue preventing to delete some data, this will be fixed on
   next version, see [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/auto-delete-logs-settings-is-not-working-fixed-inside?replies=2](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/auto-delete-logs-settings-is-not-working-fixed-inside?replies=2)

 * Thanks for the timely response. I had already set the values you suggest except
   the logged users and spiders but the lines have not been removed (over 800k).
   I also installed the WP-Optimize plug-in but that didn’t do what I expected.
   My site is somewhat faster but still the slowest site I frequent. Would uninstalling
   and reinstalling with your suggested options work? Again, thans.
