Hi @wernergetzmann, sorry to hear of your review. I’d be happy to work with you to determine if there any issues with your set up if you’re happy to install Site Kit once more and run through some checks?
Before doing do, have you tried adding Analytics and AdSense to your site without AdSense? If so, it might be a good time to perform another check with PageSpeed Insights (before setting up Site Kit). I’m happy to perform a check on your site if you want to share your site URL.
We also have a guide on the plugin website in relation to performance which may be of interest.
Hi James
Thanks for your feedback. I disabled AdSense and that improved the performance a bit. But the difference for mobile devices is still big. See my screenshot at https://we.tl/t-FRjZM858ZC
Many thanks for sharing the screenshots. Very useful indeed. Unfortunately if you’ve added AdSense to your site, this does result in additional network requests made to ad servers. This can have an impact on performance as you’ve highlighted, with many factors involved. This performance impact can arise if you’re using AdSense with or without Site Kit.
What I’ve done now is perform a check on your site with PageSpeed Insights, which at present doesn’t have any AdSense snippet. The performance is good, and I can see you’re performing best practices while using a caching plugin also.
If you willing to install Site Kit once more and setup the plugin once more I can perform a check of your site once more. Please don’t include Analytics when setting up the plugin, so we can do a more realistic comparison as I don’t see Analytics active on your site at present.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
Hi @wernergetzmann,
Did you have an opportunity to perform a check once more with Site Kit setup? Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
@wernergetzmann I’m just following up with you to check whether all is good with your Site Kit setup and the modules you connected now, or do you have any further questions on this?
