While using the All-In-One-SEO plugin my website was ranked #1 on the first page of Google. But because my hosting provider said that the AIO-SEO plugin was resource intensive they recommended I remove it and use another plugin. So I installed this Yoast SEO plugin. The Yoast SEO plugin caused my site to move down to #9 on the first page of Google.

I installed Yoast on another site at the same time and that site is not searchable on Google at all. This Yoast SEO plugin is absolutely horrible.

  2. Just for conversation how did you determined that it was the Yoast plugin responsible for that?

Because there was no other change made to the sites at all. In addition, others have complained about not being searchable in Google any longer after using this Yoast plugin.

Are you sure that plugin is configured correct 100%? If it's configured right, there shouldn't be any problem.

Also, before moving to Yoast SEO plugin, did you move all your meta data (title, description, keywords) to Yoast through Data transporter? If not this may be the reason for your downfall.

How can I be sure I configured the plugin correctly? What should I check for?

I did not use a data transporter. But I did use the same meta data. How can I get back to the top ranking that I had?
