    Hallo allemaal! ๐Ÿ™‚

    First of all I’d like to say many thanks for this great plugin!

    Unfortunately, I’m experiencing a problem with it after updating to version 4.3.5 today. I’m using the facebook post plugin to embed single posts (for example: https://ff-westerbeck.de/category/beitraege). The height of the posts iframe is reduced to the height of the facebook placeholder. After switching the placeholder off, the posts keep on refreshing every few seconds. After I temporarily deactivated Complianz, everything was fine. After reactivating the plugin, the problem was back again. Do you have an idea what could cause the problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hartelijke groeten en blijf gezond,
    Jack

    Hi @dutchmanjack,

    Sorry to hear you’re having problems. Yesterday we fixed an issue with the code that handles ajax loaded content, which uses an interval to handle this. It sounds as if this is related. Can you try the plugin from the git repository to see if it fixes your problem?

    Hey @rogierlankhorst

    Thanks for answering so fast.

    Before I try it, isnโ€˜t it the same version 4.3.5 I installed yesterday?

    It’s the changed version, but I didn’t bump the version there yet. I’ve done this just now to make sure you load the latest .js files.

    Can I leave 4.3.5 activated an install the new version from zip file? Does it overwrite the 4.3.5 that is activated or does it install as a new plugin?

    You can either deactivate the current version, then upload the new one as zip, or you can upload the unzipped files through FTP. The first method is probably easiest.

    Seems to work fine! Thanks very much ๐Ÿ™‚

    @dutchmanjack thanks for confirming! We’ll release this patch officially next week.

    Do I leave the new version installed and delete the old version? Does the new version get the normal updates?

    Thanks again!

    (@rogierlankhorst)

    You can delete the old version. Updates should continue to work as before.

    Thanks. Just one more thing: depending on the size of the post picture, I can see a rotating loading icon https://ff-westerbeck.de/einsatz-nr-03-2020

    Plugin Author RogierLankhorst

    (@rogierlankhorst)

    The spinner icon is coming from a lazy loading plugin you use. If you want you can hide it when in the blocked content, with a little custom css:

    .cmplz-blocked-content-container .lazy-hidden {
    display:none;
    }

    let me know if that helps!

    (@dutchmanjack)

    Unfortunately, the custom css didn’t work. But the lazy load plugin has an option to switch it off for “Post Categories”, this works fine for me.

    Thanks anyway @rogierlankhorst for helping me out ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi @dutchmanjack ,
    Great to hear that your problem is solved! Could you tell us what you think of the plugin or the support by casting your review? Weโ€™d love to hear your feedback.

    Hello,

    I have a similar problem with facebook. In fact I don’t really know if it’s related to the height.

    Facebook is integrated using elementor.

    When I load the site, facebook is blocked. When I accept all cookies, the message disappears but facebook does not appear. I have to reload the page.

    I can help to debug ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi @aksl95,

    We are looking into the Facebook Page implementation and why the i-Frame doesn’t load without a page load. We’ll get back to you.

    regards Aert
