    Hey there,
we are currently working on a relaunch of our jobborad. the sites database is very big and we are pretty sure this comes from all the media uploads of the listings.
So our question is, can we reduce / delete the not used media? Any snippets or ideas how to select the “active” media?
And is it possible to store the media uploaded to the listing, instead of uploading the same pictures again every time the same listing is relisted?

    Hi @braehler !

This is a pretty common pain point for many WordPress sites. Unfortunately, I have no quick fix or snippet suggestions. There are plugins that can help clean up unused media files such as Media Cleaner or WP Optimize, but I never tried using them for WPJM job posts and media.

And is it possible to store the media uploaded to the listing, instead of uploading the same pictures again every time the same listing is relisted?

Not out-of-the-box, but I guess you could create some custom code to do this.

    Hey @bindlegirl
thanks for the reply. Yes, I heard of plugins as well, but I also need to try them first on a staging site to see if this helps/ fits our needs.
    For the media:
As far as I understand the “company” logo, once filled is called in every relist/ new job posting by the user. Maybe this can be done with the “galery” in the same way?

@braehler Yes, the company logo is called in every relist or new job posting.

I have seen some custom solutions that do this with the gallery as well but I’m not sure how exactly they approached this problem or how well it works.

Sorry, I don’t have more info for you about that.
