Is there an option in this plugin to reduce the size of the main blog index pages featured images when using excerpts. Default shows them as full width so with 10 post excerpts showing it’s taking up a lot of space and slowing things down.

I’m trying to reduce them to around 400pv (or whatever default image width WP is set to), float them to the left and have text wrap around them.

    Hi Dave,

Can you give me a link to a page you are referring to?

We are not seeing full width featured images on the blog page or archive pages.

Featured images are the same width as the content column? Is this what you mean?

    Please advise.

    Thank you,

    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,

Sorry, I should have stated it’s an offline production.

But, the effect is basically the same that I’m looking for.

Excerpts on blog home page with photo to the left, text aligned.

Just wondering if your plug in does this?

    Hi Dave,

No problem. I don’t think it does this currently. If you can send a screen grab of one of the pages in question and then edit it and send another of how you want it to look (rough mock up will do) then I will be able to very quickly sort something out.

I’ve already had an idea that a bit of JavaScript should be able to do what you want but need confirmation before I start.

    Hi,

Not heard from you so going to mark this as resolved but will keep a lookout on this thread in case anyone else has the same issue.

    Oliver
