Support » Fixing WordPress » Reduce font size in Main Menu Nav Bar

  • Hi Support,

    I have 7 links in my nav bar menu navigation which has forced the menu to sit below the logo and not next to it on the right as it should be.

    So I need to reduce the font size to make it all fine on the one line.

    I’ve done a lot of Google searching and tried to add code to the Additional CSS section but I can’t get it to work.

    The page is https://blog.funnelfella.com/

    Thanks very much.

    .header-banner-top .horizontal-nav ul {
    font-size: 14px; //add this
    }

    Hi iamkunaldesai,

    I tried adding that to Additional CSS and checked in an Incognito Window but seems to look the same.

    I had a developer add some code to my website so it may be a bit different to an average installation.

    Hello funnelfella

    Try this out

    #primary-menu a {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    }

    You can put this in your Style.css (/wp-content/themes/appstack/style.css)

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi Kartiks16, I added that to the Style.css file as you said and checked in an Incognito window but it’s still the same.

    I then tried to change the font size to 12px but that didn’t change it either.

    Is it possible that the extra code I had added by a developer (in a child theme) has fixed the size so it can’t be changed.

    That’s all I can think of.

    Scott
