    I was wondering why W3 Total Cache is still only supporting Memcached. Can we expect Redis support in the future?

    I agree that it would be a good idea, either as an HTML cache like the above solutions or as an object cache, like the current memcache implementation.

    It would also be great if the admin could choose between predis and the pecl redis extension.

    According to the developer it's on the roadmap. Hopefully they add Unix socket support.
