 * Hello Dear Masteriyo team
 * I could successfully run my website (made by Elearning and Masteriyo lms free)
   on a host with a litespeed webserver and LScache on it. Everything works well.
 * But about Redis cache and Memcache, i think the host I’m using, has one of those
   cache features too(i don’t remember if it was Redis or Memcache). I don’t understand
   these and is it okay to enable them for a site made by Elearning and Masteriyo
   lms?
 * If yes, is there any tutorial for them? Thank you very much

 * Hi [@derlehre](https://wordpress.org/support/users/derlehre/),
 * Thanks for reaching out, and great to hear everything is running well with LScache!
 * Yes, it’s safe to enable Redis or Memcached (object caching) with Masteriyo LMS.
   Both work fine, so you can use whichever one your host provides. No special configuration
   is needed on the Masteriyo side.
 * A few quick tips:
    1. Please make sure Masteriyo LMS is updated to version 3.4.1 or later before enabling
       object caching. That release includes an improvement to how Masteriyo works
       with persistent object caches, so staying up to date is important.
    2. You can keep LScache enabled alongside it. LScache handles page caching, while
       Redis/Memcached handles object caching, so they complement each other rather
       than conflict. If you’re using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, you can enable object
       caching directly from LiteSpeed Cache → Cache → Object. Your host can confirm
       whether Redis or Memcached is available on your plan.
    3. After enabling it, we recommend a quick check: log in with a test student account,
       open a course, and go through a lesson or two. If everything loads normally,
       you’re all set.
 * If you notice anything unusual afterwards, such as a lesson not loading for students,
   disable object caching and let us know.
 * Hope this helps!
