Hi folks - everything about Redirection is working smoothly for me except...I cannot seem to get it to successfully redirect old PDFs from an older media folder listing (i.e., http://www.scalable.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Whitepaper_MSFT_Audit_FINALsml_051213.pdf)
to a newer (i.e., http://www.scalable.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Whitepaper_MSFT_Audit_FINALmed_051213.pdf). What do I need to do to make sure these can be redirected?

    Hello :-).

Same problem for me : impossible to redirect a pdf file from an old URL to a new one.

Do you have a solution ?

    Thank you !

I like the plugin but it will not redirect PDFs or any other files in the media library (only pages and posts will redirect). Is there any way to get it to redirect PDFs or other files?

If you use WordPress redirections then they will only work when WordPress itself runs. Images and PDFs are not served by WordPress, they are served directly from your web server, so Redirection does not get chance to run.

If you wish to redirect these you will need to create the redirections using the Apache module and set it up so that your web server uses the .htaccess file that it produces.
