I’ve recently migrated a WordPress site to GoDaddy. The previous permalink structure had index.php in it, http://www.example.com/index.php/biography
I’ve successfully updated the permalink structure to omit the index.php, http://www.example.com/biography The site works fine. Google, however, is still serving the old links. I’ve resubmitted a sitemap so those links should eventually be updated. In the meantime, how do I redirect users from the old link to the new one as accessing the old link produces a ‘No input file specified’ error.
I’ve also tried some suggestions from various WordPress support threads to modify the .htaccess file with rewrite rules but they did not work.
Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.
