    Hi there,

We’ve used your plugin and it worked just fine. We wanted to disable the redirect and have the website as it was before. When we tried to do this, website still redirects as if the plugin was still active.

    Things we did to troubleshoot:
1 – Set the redirect status to Disable from plugin settings – no luck
2 – Disabled the plugin directly – no luck
3 – Removed the plugin – no luck
4 – Cleared WordPress cache, Cloudflare cache, hosting cache, browser cache – no luck

    Any other tips?
    Thanks

The browser will cache 301 redirects. Clearing the browser cache should do the trick.

You can try opening a new incognito window in Chrome or using another browser or device that you haven’t tested the redirect in. If the redirect isn’t occurring there, it’s just a browser cache issue.

Keep in mind that depending on the browser, you may have to set the timeframe to be further in the past to properly clear the cache.

    Hey Micah,

Appreciate the fast reply and apologies for the other email.

Unfortunately, browser caching is not the issue here, tested in incognito and on a new device (phone) – same thing.

    Any other tips?

    Thanks!

    Hey guys,

I have the same issue as @radu88
I have deleted the plugin by now and the redirect is still active.
How do I access my wp dashboard now?
Looking forward to a quick reply.

    Thanks!

    Best
    Leo

@leoborn So I followed up with @radu88 offline and his issue wasn’t related to the plugin. If you have removed the plugin and are still getting the redirect, it is due to this: https://wpscholar.com/blog/browser-caching-301-redirects/.

This plugin shouldn’t prevent you from accessing your WordPress dashboard at all. It only redirects the front-end of the site, not the back-end.

    Hi @leoborn,

As @wpscholar said, we did discussed about my issue offline and it wasn’t the plugin at fault. For some reason that I can’t remember, the plugin was not working as I needed and I ended up adding some code in functions.php that handled the redirection that I completely forgot.

Hope you get your issue sorted out,
    Radu
