Hello @tiebreaktennis
Yes, redirection from SSP to a new URL works, it’s in
Podcasting -> Settings -> Feed Details -> Redirect this feed to new URL
.
We removed the 48 hours delay, so it should work immediately.
Best regards,
Sergiy, development team.
Hello,
thanks for reply. I did it, but I can’t see my episodes in the new URL feed. And the old rss feed (SSP) seems to still work. This is original (SSP) https://tbtennis.cz/feed/podcast and this is new: https://media.rss.com/tiebreaktennis/feed.xml
I donť know what is wrong. Maybe that have I the old version of plugin? Version 5.3.2?
Thanks for help.
Best regards

Are you sure it’s 5.3.2? We never had such a version, the current plugin version is 2.16.0.
And yes, it’s always good to keep an up-to-date version of the plugin.
@zahardoc Sorry, my fault. I have 2.9.9 version.
Yes, in older versions we had a 48-hour delay for redirection. So you can wait 48 hours or just update the plugin. In the updated version it will work immediately.
Just update the plugin, enter the podcast feed’s new URL and still not change. 🙁
@tiebreaktennis I think it might be a cache issue. From the page source, I still can see version 2.9.9. Please try to flush the cache, or maybe disable it for a while.
I flushed the cache, enter the new feed url, nothing changed… If I disable the plugin, what happened? Episodes will not shown at all for a while?
@tiebreaktennis
It looks like it’s your NGINX server that caches the response. If you try URL with any additional parameter, like https://tbtennis.cz/feed/podcast?v=2, it redirects correctly.
Please ask your hosting support to help with that caching, or maybe just manually setup the redirect from their side.
Hi @tiebreaktennis
I just checked out the original RSS feed and did a hard refresh and the feed now redirects to https://anchor.fm/s/b3fc7570/podcast/rss
Yes, it’s ok now. Thanks a lot for your help. 🙂
@tiebreaktennis
Great, glad you’ve managed to solve it.
