# Redirection not working

 * I’ve just installed Redirection and it’s not working for me. I have a subdomain,
   dogsdontlookbothways, and my blog is within that (dogsdontlookbothways.com/joeys_blog).
   I would like one of the pages in the blog to redirect to the blog home page. 
   But it’s not working: I am getting the message ‘sorry but your redirection was
   not created.”
 * I am putting in redirect:
    [http://www.dogsdontlookbothways.com/joeys_blog/index-dog-health-care-emergency/](http://www.dogsdontlookbothways.com/joeys_blog/index-dog-health-care-emergency/)

 * What’s the problem?

 * I have some security plugins installed; could they be the source of the problem?
   If so, then what?

 * Okay, I got no responses so I just deactivated the Redirection plugin and installed
   Simple 301 Redirects. It’s not yet rated for 3.8.1 WordPress but hopefully it
   will be soon!!
