# Redirection Loop

 * Hi,
 * I’m new to WordPress and know very little about having my own website. The problem
   that I have has to do with a redirecting loop. When I try accessing the different
   sections in my WordPress dashboard (in Safari as well as in Google Chrome), I
   get an error and am told that there are too many redirections. Sometimes I’m 
   not even able to log in, but most of the time, I just can’t access anything from
   my dashboard and I get a ‘Not found, 404 Error.’ I started my blog about a week
   ago and up until today everything was going just fine! After downloading and 
   activating a certain plug-in (I forgot the name and cannot access my plug-ins
   either!), this has been an issue. I tried clearing my history and cookies, but
   that didn’t help.
 * What should I do? If you have any ideas, please give me very basic, step-by-step
   instructions due to the fact that I’m very new to all of this!

 * What plugin was it that you installed? You can remove directly using the information
   below.
 * This is what might be causing the issues, or it might be that your website is
   not properly redirecting. Take a read here on how to remove the plugin without
   dashboard access.

   MailPoet plug-in, which I have now deleted. The link you shared was very helpful!
