[Resolved] Redirection – How to hide the Parent page that has the html handoff

I’ve got a problem and I’ve spent all day trying to find a solution, both on here and from my theme’s designer (using Purevision and latest rev of WordPress).

I have a menu item named “Our Community” which leads to a page with a url redirect. What’s happening is that page is loading and showing a sidebar and a blank page, and then a few seconds later executes the redirect.

    I WANT the following functionality:

Hit the “Our Community” selection in the menu and redirect WITHOUT showing the WordPress page in the middle of the event.

    Any ideas?

Apparently I asked a question that was more easily answered by reading the freaking directions!

    Apologies. Please close the thread.

The secret is in the custom menus. Make a menu item that’s a straight redirect.
