 * Having a problem with a site redirecting to an html page instaed of the index
   page, tried the htacess, driving me mad probably so simple 🙁 site is [http://www.ghostsuncovered.com](http://www.ghostsuncovered.com)
   but directs to a post i made although i deleted the post ,anu ideas would be 
   great thanks

 * Do you have any redirection plugin installed?
    Also any cache plugin installed?
 * If so try to deactivate them and see if that helps.

 * Hi,
 * You might also check your settings with your host. There are options in cpanel
   and other popular hosting panels to redirect the domain to pages etc..

 * It’s best practice to change to a default theme and disable your plugins. Also,
   you can try to rename your .htaccess file. Make one change, and see if it corrects
   it, then try another until you find the culprit. I’d start with renaming the .
   htaccess though.

 * I had to do upload a backup of an old database , thanks guys for replying .
