Thanks @bestwebsoft. I submitted a support ticket via support.bestwebsoft.com. I’ll update this thread once the solution is found.

    Just a quick update:

I tried everything suggested but am unable to get any different results.

    * Switched to the TwentySeventeen theme
    * Deactivated Peter’s login redirect plugin
    * Deactivated WP Multisite SSO

I still have WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping) network activated because it’s responsible for allowing subdomains of my primary site map to the public domain for each site on the network. I played around with the plugin settings but nothing makes a difference to the login redirect happening.

@bestwebsoft says they’re doing some testing using multisite and the MU Domain Mapping plugin but there’s no ETA on a fix yet.

I think ideally the plugin would have settings that allow you to specify the login redirect the way some other social login plugins do. Will update here once I hear back from the dev.

    Hi,

Social Login V0.3 is already released.

Please confirm that you still have this problem.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

I have 0.3 installed. I’m now not redirected to the primary site but I’m always redirected to /wp-admin/. Peter’s Login/logout Redirects is not being honored so I can’t control where specific roles/users are redirected after logging in. Is there any way to solve this?

Also, we use the WP Multisite SSO plugin but logging in with Google does not log me in to the network; it only logs me into the site I’m visiting.

    Hi,

    Redirect functionality is already scheduled.
Probably, our plugin would have its own redirect settings. We can’t guarantee that it will be compatible with third-party plugins.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team
