    I am trying to find the correct code to add to my htaccess file to properly redirect to https://www.geminifloors.com . I would like it so that all versions of the domain redirect here.

    Godaddy offers the following method. I added this code and am getting inconsistent results. On Chrome (after clearing browsing cache) if I put geminifloors.com it says ‘This site can’t be reached http://www.geminifloors.com’s server DNS address could not be found’. If I go to http://www.geminifloors.com it does redirect to https://www.geminifloors.com but there is no secure lock and there’s the message ‘Your connection to this site is not fully secure. Attackers might be able to see the images you’re looking at on this site and trick you by modifying them”.

    I have been using the plugin Really Simple SSL to redirect and it works properly, it does redirect and have a padlock. But it takes too long for the site to load. With the plugin active, if I go directly to https://ww.geminifloors.com the site loads immediately and has a padlock. So trying to do redirect without the plugin.

    Can someone provide the proper code??

    Using the following code in your .htaccess file automatically redirects visitors to the HTTPS version of your site:

    RewriteEngine On

    I am not sure If I added the code correctly because it says ‘Do not duplicate RewriteEngine On’. RewriteEngine On is listed in my htaccess file already 2x under the following sections:

    A simple way to redirect to HTTPS is by using a plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/https-redirection/

    Another way is by adding this to the .htaccess:

    Thanks to a2hostingrj for your response. I did try adding the code you offered into the htaccess. I had the same result, it redirects to https but there is no padlock. Only way that works is with the plugin I’m using ‘Really Simple SSL’. It just takes more time for pageload with the plugin. I’m just going to leave it like that for now.
