Recently I have noticed that when I click a attachment link on my Downloads page, I am redirected to homepage. I am using the [page_load] shortcode, but experienced the same issue testing with just a straight embed of the attachment ID. The download count never changes either, its like the plug-in is not even recognizing the ‘click’ on the attachment.

For the record, the plugin used to work fine when I first starting using it

There is nothing wrong with the files if I do a normal wordpress page editor file attachment on the page, the file downloads fine.

    Please advise

Did u try regenerate permalink? Under Download Options, try redirect to file instead?

Yes I have done and tried all of the above – still not working.

I really like this plugin, because its simple and the accessibility rules per user to limit downloads has been invaluable. But this issue has me stumped!

Can u try deactivate all other plugins to see if it works first? I have no idea why that is happening. I also can’t access to download as it is member only.

Thanks for the tip about deactivating the other plug-ins – that seems to have solved the problem. Its working again now…

I will just have to figure out which one is the culprit now.
