Redirecting only to main domain?

So, I made the huge error of moving a site without taking the permalinks into account.

I’m attempting to redirect /(\d*)/(\d*)/(\d*)/(.*).html

to

/(.*)/

so that the old squarespace http://www.rebekahhoytblog.com/2012/8/14/teryn-matt-are-married.html
can become http://rebekahhoytblog.com/teryn-matt-are-married/

but the redirect is just going back to the main URL (rebekahhoytblog.com).

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
