# redirecting issues

 * I am getting a redirect error only on two pages.
 * I have links on the pictures labeled:
 * > Do It Yourself
 *  which is linked to this url:
 * [http://thehandymantoolbox.com/exploring-home-maintenance/discover-d-i-y](http://thehandymantoolbox.com/exploring-home-maintenance/discover-d-i-y)
 * And the other picture
 * > Contractors and Handymen
 *  is linked to this url:
 * [http://thehandymantoolbox.com/exploring-home-maintenance/contractors-and-handymen](http://thehandymantoolbox.com/exploring-home-maintenance/contractors-and-handymen)
 * When I go to the main page:
 * [http://thehandymantoolbox.com](http://thehandymantoolbox.com)
 * and click on either picture, I get his message….
 * > The page isn’t redirecting properly
   > Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address
   > in a way that will never complete.
   > * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
 * Got any suggestion?
 * Again it only happens on these two pages.

 * Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If that works,
   then try reading [Using_Permalinks](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

 * Quick question….
 * If I go back to default,
 * will it mess up the other pages and links I have on the other 40+ pages?

 * It will affect all pages, posts and archive pages but you can re-build the same
   custom structure back up again afterwards if necessary.

 * Not to argue with you here, just a thought….
 * The other pages work fine…..
 * This just happened today.
 * I did add some plugins last night…
 * just these two are not working now.
 * Leaving a total revamp aside as a last resort,
    could I just deactivate the plugins
   one at a time to see if there is a plugin that interfering first?

 * Yes – that should always be the first thing you look at. Undoing anything you’ve
   added/installed/changed recently.
