redirecting domain alias to main domain

    I have added 2 domain alias to a main wordpress site,

    For Example, example1.com and example2.com added to example.com

    But even after setting URLs in the Settings, (to http://www.example.com)
    If example1.com is opened, the site displays under the URL example1.com only.
    I want this to redirect to the main site, example.com

    How do I do this ?

    I read i can use HTACCESS

    Please help !!

    Who’s your domain name registrar? Godaddy supports ‘domain forwarding’ just go into your domain control panel, total dns control and domain forwarding. Then you can forward example1.com to example.com. No htaccess required.
    I would imagine other domain name registrars offer similar services.

    I was aware of the domain forwarding option. However, to avoid a few complications, I wanted to use the domain alias option.

    It wasn’t a problem with my previous host (Bluehost). It would automatically redirect previously. Now I’m using another server.

    So I was wondering if I could do the same manually.
