I am changing my permalinks from /category/postname to /postname/ids
I used this code on your website guide

    /category name (.*) to /$1

everything work but now when someone click on a category menu it will show 404 error well obviously because I made the redirect above..

I want category links to work but I don’t want category permalinks in my article.. is it not possible? It was possible to fix this in Advance Permalinks plugins of yours before..

do you have so much free time that you dug up all my post in forum?

this question was for another website and it’s not the same problem.
and btw this one has been resolved. Thanks for the bump

I simply asked a question about two related posts by same. If you want forum members to understand which site is in question, per forum rules, include a site link. Also, your last two replies directed at me have been a bit derogatory at best. Please review my help here at the forums and again review how best to get help here.

Thank you for your advices. as per first post the problem here is removing category.

My solution for this project was to redirect the post one by one since it’s a small site and doesn’t have much post.

While the other question were about attachment page is no longer accessible and I needed the regex to help me redirect it.
