# Redirected from https to http accidentally

 * I accidentally changed the settings for redirect in wp-admin from http to https.
   I cannot log in anymore as the website won’t load. Does anyone know how to fix
   this issue without logging into the wp-admin domain?
 * Additionally, I have an SSL certificate but did not install it prior to the above
   switch.

 * You can “hard code” your URL by editing wp-config.php: [https://wordpress.org/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#wp_siteurl](https://wordpress.org/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#wp_siteurl)
 * Once you have your SSL cert properly installed, you can delete that line (or 
   lines).
