‘redirect_uri’ mismatch error

Greetings. I see others have had this error, ‘redirect_uri’ mismatch error, upon installing Google Kit. I have tried some of the suggestions but it is still coming up. Would it be good it re-install?

Hi @kk9227 ! Yes, please either re-install or deactivate and reactivate the plugin after you have checked if the default URL in the property admin of your Analytics account matches your site’s address (exactly). Please let me know if this helps!

I have reinstalled the plugin and still getting ‘redirect_uri’ mismatch when I try to connect my Google Adsense

I have the same issue but it happened after updating the plugin, I still can access the dashboard and it says “Issue accessing data” You need to reauthenticate your Google account but link to ‘redirect_uri’ mismatch

Same issue, reinstalling didn’t help.

@kk9227 I’m checking to see if the issue is resolved for you after following the steps? I can see the Analytics snippet provided by Site Kit installed on the site, but it would be great to get your confirmation. Thank you!

I reinstalled it on a new WordPress install and it’s working. Don’t know if it was a backend fix or not but it;s working now.
