 * I get a database error when trying to access my websites through “www” when the
domain in WordPress is set to without “www”.
 * domain.com (Works)
    [http://www.domain.com](http://www.domain.com) (Could not
   connect to database)
 * If I set “www” in my default domain the “domain.com” is getting the database
   error.
 * If i disable the plugin and enable it again, both domains works. But I need a
   more sustainable solution.
 * I get these problems on multiple sites using the Quick Cache plugin, so it’s
   not a one time problem.
 * Anyone got any ideas on this?

 * If you’re having database connectivity issues, that has something to do with
your server configuration, not Quick Cache.
 * Generally speaking, you should pick which domain you want to use (with or without`
www`) and stick to that. You can setup a redirect from one to the other via an`.
   htaccess` file.
 * Regarding the database connectivity issues: I recommend contacting your web hosting
support department to inquire what might be causing that.

 * We already got the redirect from “www.” to non “www”. That works perfect, that
is not the problem, the problem is that when we activate the Quick Cache plugin
   it doesn’t work anymore.
 * The problem only appeared where we got this plugin.
    I experienced this problem
in 5 sites at the same time. The problem is related to the plugin, ’cause if
we disable the plugin, it works like a charm again.
 * To give it an extra twist, if we disable and enable the plugin, it works again.
But I wanna know why this happens, since it doesn’t feel very reliable.

 * How are you doing the redirect from www to non-www? Are you using a WordPress
plugin? Are you using an `.htaccess` file?
