 * G’day everyone,
 * I am wanting to redirect /*/wp-admin/ to the main URL.
 * I have people trying to view /*/wp-admin/ etc and producing 404s, I was wondering
   how i can redirect that?
 * the * could be any directory like backup, back, blog etc.
 * Any help or info would be great, I cannot find anything on google unfortunately.
 * I’d like to do this via .htaccess

 * Messing with .htaccess is more trouble than it is worth in situations like this,
   in my opinion, because WordPress is so reliant on .htaccess for Permalinks and
   other things. It is just too easy to get into a conflict.
 * Have you considered just redirecting all 404s to your home page? This can be 
   done with some of the many 404 plugins:
    [https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=404](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=404)
