Support » Fixing WordPress » redirect with wildcard but no backslash

  • We sent an email, with links to stories on WordPress and some random Marketo tracking codes after the URL. It didn’t work. So I’m trying to set up redirects to get those broken items to go to the correct page. But it doesn’t work the way I’d expect.

    I understand the wildcard … /page/* and /page/(.*)

but I don’t have that backslash, so my redirection module isn’t catching things.

I have links like this: /page?utm_source=newsletter&tracking=!#NVFHDADFasdfw017123w etcetera.

How can I catch all these and redirect them to /page

  • Can you be more specific with the problem? Is this plugin that your talking about (redirection module) or some custom made function?
