# Redirect URL Problem

 * When creating the application in Microsoft Services I get “Your redirect domain
   is not valid or contains a word that isn’t allowed. Please reenter the URL or
   to request an exception, go to Microsoft Help and Support.” I am using the URL
   in Step 6 from the Instructions page. Any guidance appreciated.

   registration? And also the domain you’ve specified earlier in the process?

   this is per the Instructions page from the Plugin settings.

 * There seems to be an issue with the word Microsoft in the domain name.
    Is there
   another domain name which is pointing at your blog that you can use instead?

 * Thanks for the help! I switched over to a different domain URL and everything
   is working now. Marking as resolved! On to the first post.
