# Redirect upon installation

 * I have recently tried to install WP several times with the same results. Once
   the install is completed, WP shows the page with the admin login name and auto
   generated password. I click on the link to login, put admin in for the username,
   add the autogenerated password. When I click to login, I am automatically redirected
   to my websites home page. For example, the WP files are installed in the [http://www.mysite.com/blog](http://www.mysite.com/blog)
   directory. When I try to login, I get redirected to the home page at [http://www.mysite.com](http://www.mysite.com).
 * Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 * Semething went wrong duirng the installation:
    [http://www.americanrantnetwork.com?step=2/wp-content/themes/default/style.csa](http://www.americanrantnetwork.com?step=2/wp-content/themes/default/style.csa)
   Do you notice that “?step=2” portion in the URL of the stylesheet? It means that
   your blog has been saved with the wrong URL.
