redirect to page after registered

    I want to give users the ability to vote on my site, but they need to register and login in order to vote. After they have registered on the site and logged in I want to redirect them to the original page where they clicked the ‘register’ button, so they can now vote on that page.
    Is there a way to send a permalink through the standard wordpress register page wp-login.php?action=register or send it in the email confirmation so the user can click on the link and go back to the original page he was on inorder to vote?
