Redirect to category page – remove params from link

    I have modified the plugin with redirect_to_category_page_as_search_results_page
    as well as automatically_filter_category_pages and filter_sub_categories

    However there is an issue with it when I click search it redirects to category page but doesn’t show results.
    It doesn’t just go to /parts/ but instead link looks like this

    …/parts/?_cat=AJP&_year=2013&_make=200&_model=PR3+200++Enduro

    when you delete everything after slash it displays correct results. How to stop this
    “?_cat=AJP&_year=2013&_make=200&_model=PR3+200++Enduro” from being added and search to go just to /parts/ ?

    Problem was caused by double space in YMM restrictions
    example first one would give correct results – 2nd have double space (indicated by _ as this website deletes double spaces automatically ) between 1000 and Mile and would not give any results.

    Aprilia, 1998, 2003, 1000, RSV 1000_Mille
    Aprilia, 1998, 2003, 1000, RSV 1000__Mille
