Support » Plugin: Klarna Payments for WooCommerce » Redirect to 404 after order was placed

    Hi Support-Team,
    we discovered an issue and already contacted Klarna about it, but never heard back from them.

    In case the user wants to open an account while placing an order your plugin redirects to /checkout/bad_nonce after submitting the order which results in an error 404 right away. These orders are visible in WooCommerce, but neither any mails are sent nor the orders can be found in Klarna. If we disable the option for creating a user account in checkout it works fine.

    Also commenting out lines 49 and 50 in file class-kp-ajax.php solves it and orders will be placed successfully. I just don’t know what other effects this might have and it probably doesn’t fix the cause behind it.

    This scenario occurs in live and playground mode with only three active plugins (Klarna Payments 2, Klarna Order Mngm. 1.5, Woocommerce 3.8 and 3.9). We checked it on two different environments (Apache and Lightspeed).

    For now we have to run our store without user accounts to not lose any orders, but of course that is not acceptable for the long run. How to solve it?

    Thanks!

    Hi @word1press

    We have been able to recreate the issue you described in our test environment. We believe it has to do with the latest version of Klarna Payments (2.0.5). I have created an internal ticket for this issue. Unfortunately, we do not have a date for when this is going to be resolved.

    Hi Kristian,

    Do you have any information when this bug will be fixed? This is really serious problem because it makes impossible to use main and very effective way of gaining new users if shop uses Klarna Payments. So, it may affect business seriously.

    @panbolec Hi again,

    We have now release a new version for Klarna Payments that has a fix for this issue. So you could try and download the new version and see if that solves your issue.

    Best regards,
    Michael Bengtsson
