    Hi

I was reading your help docs however I don’t find the answer.

    I have the following:

Multisite with two live subdirectory sites:
    1) example.com redirects to example.com/es/ (for now with the htaccess file, but I need to change it that’s why I decided to use this plugin)
    2) example.com/en/

Now I want to develop the main site which is: (changed /blog/ slug for /ar/)
    3) example.com/ar/

So I need for now to redirect only the home page, so I can edit and publish post in /ar/

    My question is
If I network load the plugin and activate in the main site /ar/
How do I redirect only the homepage?
What should I insert in the “source url” input
    nothing, a slash, or /ar/
How to set up for redirecting only the home page and not all pages of site.

Thanks, your help will be much appreciated.

What should I insert in the “source url” input

Insert whatever is the URL you want to redirect. If you want to redirect /ar/ then enter that.

    Maybe I didn’t explain correctly.

    You said:
“The relative url you want to redirect from”
This is two urls in one is the main url
    example.com
    and also
    example.com/ar/

If I consider that I am inside
    example.com/ar/
which is the relative url for the home page?

Everything is relative to the root of your site, /. If you want to match /ar/ then /ar/ is your source. You do not need to worry about what path your WP installation is in – it is only the URL that is important.

If I redirect /ar/ to my target URL example.com/es and somebody wants to access example.com is going to be redirected to example.com/es/ which is my target URL?

You are overthinking this a little. As I’ve said, if you redirect /ar/ then it will redirect /ar/. It will not redirect / as that is not the same URL.
