    Hello,

I have a sign up form which should redirect people to a free lesson once they have signed up.

I have the settings configured to go to a custom url and on my home desktop, this works perfectly.

However for my client (who is using the same browser as me, also on a desktop) or when I sign up on my mobile the redirect does not work.

Any ideas why or how to get it working more frequently?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @jess-1,

The redirect didn’t work for me either but the API returned proper redirect response. I am not sure what’s going on. Will test some things locally and let you know.

    All the best,
    Kevin.

    Hey Jess,

I don’t know what’s going on. I can’t reproduce this issue in my local environment. Can you screenshot the redirect rules that are currently in place? (e.g. a screenshot like this: https://imgur.com/a/NwaNy).

Also, do you mind if I send some more test subscriptions? The problem with testing the redirect is that you have to subscribe in order for the redirect to work (or try to work, in your case). I don’t want to fill up your mailing list with fake emails trying to test the subscription so let me know if you have an idea of what I can do.

Thank you & apologies for the issue.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your response.

Here is a screenshot of the settings:

    That is for this form:

Feel free to test the form with fake email addresses – please include the word test in it eg. test1@gmail.com or anothertest@yahoo.com and I’ll go in later and delete them all from the list.

    Thanks.

    Hey Jess,

I found the issue – it’s related to opening the redirect in a new window. Some browsers detect a new window opening as a potential popup and block them – this is what Chrome is showing: https://imgur.com/a/vWs7y.

This is a known issue and we cannot change it.

Can you open the redirect in the same window?

    Let me know.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,

Ok, thanks. It was happening in safari not on one computer, but on another (both using safari). Anyway – yes we are happy to open in the same window and I have made the changes for that.

    Thank you for your help.
    Jess
