Hello missveronica, thank you for your help.
I checked the document and I tested chapter “1. Page Settings” on our stage-site: I made sure all pages are defined and are unique (they are all defaults).
I noticed when I click/go to the homepage I don’t get the “too many redirects” error anymore. However I now get redirected to my UM User or Account page (I don’t know the difference). The URL is something like: https://domain.com/user/rowdy-dc-79uhgsewthysdfggsfhsadgfdfsgdfsgdfs/?redirect_to=https://domain.com/ . Why is that and how can I fix this so I can just go to my homepage?

@rodricus
Look at “Allow Homepage to be accessible” setting in
UM Settings -> Access -> Restriction Content
Hello missveronica,
I don’t see the option “Allow Homepage to be accessible” setting there.
@rodricus
UM Settings -> Access -> Restriction Content -> Global Site Access = “Site accessible to Logged in users” will enable setting of “Allow Homepage to be accessible”
https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1736-content-restriction
Hello,
Okay yes I found the setting. However if the setting “Accessible Homepage” is enabled I still go to the UM User or Account page instead of the real homepage.
Hello @rodricus
Do you use a cache plugin? Try to clear the browser and plugin cache.
Regards.
Hello andrewshu
No we don’t use page cache or optimisation on this stage site.
Any idea how we can still solve this?

Hello @rodricus
Please check your Ultimate member – Settings – Access settings and Ultimate member – User roles – your user role’s settings. There are redirect and restriction settings that may conflict.
Regards.
