Redirect Loop

    Hi!

    I’ve got problem with downloading file. When I try to download it (after i fullfil CF7 form) I get error: Redirect Loop. I tried changing the EBD options (delivery format, hide/mask etc.) but nothing seems to work.

    Does anybody have the same problem?

    No, that’s not a common problem.

    In Download Monitor (the “Downloads” section of your admin menu), Edit your download. Look over on the top-right area of the screen that appears and there will be a URL which is the URL to get your download directly from Download Monitor (in other words it has nothing to do with EBD or CF7). Copy that URL and paste it into a different browser (so that you are not logged in to the website) and see if it downloads your download file. If it does not, then the issue is with your website and/or its interaction with Download Monitor. If it does download the file, then set it to ‘both’ in the EBD setting and make sure “hide/mask” is not checked, then update this item with a link to your page and the shortcode you are using so I can see the issue.

    Hi @dtynan! Thanks for your answer!

    I copied that URL and pasted it to another browser. The file is downloading without any problem.

    I also changed EBD settings to both and uncheked “hide/mask” option but I still have redirect loop problem.

    In your CF7 form, the field name for the email field -must- be named “your-email” (without quotes). If it is not your-email then things will not work. You might also want to make the name field your-name though I don’t think that’s required (making it your-name will cause the value that the user types in to be output in the name field of the Export CSV feature, if you care about that).
