# redirect loop

 * installed my wordpress on [http://www.domain.com/wordpress](http://www.domain.com/wordpress).
   i then wanted to redirect so the wordpress would show when going to [http://www.domain.com](http://www.domain.com).
   i followed a guide from here somewhere (cant find it) wich told me to change 
   Site URL to [http://www.domain.com](http://www.domain.com) and then move index.
   php and change a string in it. it also told me to move .htaccess to the root,
   but i dont have that file (enabled show hidden in filezilla).
 * so i went with it – and it worked for like 10 minutes. but now chrome tells me
   there is a Redirect loop and i have no idea where to go from here.
 * Any help is very very appreciated.

 * when you copied index.php file in root did you add your folder in line 17
    recheck
   there are instructions here to use wordpress from directory

 * yes i did exactly what your link told me to. for some reason it seems to work
   now though. I’ll post again if something happens again.
