# Redirect error message – HELP!

 * I posted a new post this morning. Hate the title. Changed it. Decided I like 
   the earlier version and changed it back to the original. Now when you click on
   the title of the post, you get an error message because it’s redirecting to the
   interim title.

 * Even typing in the correct title: [http://www.filmscoreclicktrack.com/2009/09/28/color-it-empty/](http://www.filmscoreclicktrack.com/2009/09/28/color-it-empty/)
   brings up an error message.
 * I’ve cleared the cache, cookies, history, everything. Nothing. I’ve talked to
   my server company. Nothing. I’ve even deleted the old post and created a new 
   one with the correct title and URL tags. Same problem as before.
 * I’ve tried searching for a solution through the forum but can’t find it. If there’s
   an answer already out there, please send me a link to the post and I’ll be happy
   to get the info from there.

 * Have you tried resetting your custom permalinks to the default setting? If that
   works, try setting the custom permalink structure back up again.

 * Occasionally WP and/or the server needs to reset the rewrites. Resetting back
   to the default permalink structure and/or deleting the .htaccess file seems to
   do the trick. Glad to hear that it helped this time.
