Support » Plugin: Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce » Redirect Confirm page based on option

  • Not an issue with the plugin – looking for the ability to redirect the page based on an option chosen from a drop down.

    Since this seems to somewhat integrate with contact form 7 I thought this would work https://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-7-conditional-redirect-based-on-drop-down-menu/
    I have added the script to my footer but the submission is not redirect based on my option. What do I need to adjust to get this to fire on the web-to-lead form?

    Here is what I want – I have an drop option in the form:
    Homeowner
    Renter

    document.addEventListener( ‘wpcf7-submit’, function( event ) {
    if ( ‘1’ == event.detail.contactFormId ) {

    var sf_Own_or_Rent__c = document.getElementById(“sf_Own_or_Rent__c”).value;

    if (sf_Own_or_Rent__c == “Homeowner”) {
    location = ‘http://example.com/’;
    } else if (sf_Own_or_Rent__c == “Renter”) {
    location = ‘http://google.com/’;
    }

    }
    }, false )

    Right now the plugin uses a Javascript redirect that’s written after the submit is processed by the server.

    I plan to make it a server-based redirect with easy filtering eventually.

    At present… I’m not sure if a conditional redirect is really possible without adding a specific filter to the plugin.

    I mean you could filter the Salesforce plugin options on the way out of the database… but that’s pretty kludgey.

    I’ve added adding a filter to the redirect URL to the feature list for the next reelase.
