I’ve been scouring wordpress for a plugin that redirects to a page of my choice depending on specific text located in the content area of a page. The reason this is important to me, is due to the following scenario;
I have a wordpress plugin that displays real estate listings on my website which are pulled directly from my local MLS database. The problem arises when a listing comes off the market. A user looking for a listing find themselves on my site by doing a Google search. If the listing is no longer available, they are greeted by a page that says “listing no longer available” at which point they click the back button (eg. http://exceptional-results.com/mls-listings/C2506768/). This is killing my retention and possible business as I have control over how the plugin works and the developer believes this is not a worthwhile issue to address.
Is there anything this plugin can do to address this?
Please let me know if you require additional information or ideas how I can work around this.
Ps. I plan on donating to a plugin with this type of functionality as I believe this is a worthwhile feature.
