Redirect attachment URL's points to Attachment ID's

    I am using the latest Yoast WP SEO Plugin.

    In the PERMALINKS section, I have checked the “Redirect attachment URL’s to parent post URL” option.

    However, all attachment ID’s are getting indexed.
    The Canonical Rel Link Element within my pages is pointing to the attachment ID and NOT to the canonical page it belongs to.

    Here just one of my pages:

    – How can I fix it ?
    – What do I have to change that the Canonical Link Element is actually pointing to my “actual content page” ?

    Hi there, I’m having the same issue, only with attachment ID’s within Posts, clicked your link, how did you solve this?
