Hi, first of all thank you for this plugin that has so many features.
So we chose it for our project and even if there were some things that didn’t function well, overall it was a working solution.
Now after update (2.6.3 to 2.7.0) there is some issues that weren’t there before, and made the plugin basically useless:

    1. After plugin update, if I go to Account page of a user and try to update some info in form field (like change date of birth for example) it redirects me to a User page (which we don’t need to be never viewed or visited by anybody, this page is restricted for admin only) instead of giving the green Success message, like it was before plugin update, and we need this old scenario with a Success message, how we can come back to that?.. I’ve tried to look at some solutions but nothing seems to work. There were no changes made in settings of the plugin.

    2. Still after plugin update, if I open any forms (a custom one or forms like registration ecc) when I click any icon of settings nothing happens. Basically, it’s like if all clicks were unabled (there is only a link down on a left javascript:void(0)), and it’s impossible to open a field to customize it, impossibile to add fields or delete them. You can only see the fields, but can’t do anything. It happened exactly after the update of plugin.

Tried to deactivate plugins, update themes (Hello Elementor if its matter), clear a cache, clear all custom code in function php – but nothing helps. For the 1 issue I’ve tried to restrict access to User page (as it described here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ultimate-member-default-account-page/ ) so client after clicking update would be redirected back to Account page, instead of going to User page but it didnt work at all.
Also searched here on forum if somebody has same issues – but didnt find.

    Hello @zewa

Try to do a conflict test – https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/96-how-to-do-a-plugin-theme-conflict-test (especially try to change your Hello Elementor theme to the default one).

    Regards.

Thank you, I did the complete conflict tests and it turnes out that plugin Bookly was the reason for my second issue. After its update now fields of forms are clickable.
After all tests done still have the first issue though, which is definitely connected with Ultimate Member update, what can I possibly do about it?

    Hi @zewa

Are you sure that you redirected from account to user page and not vice versa? Please check that your pages assign correctly at Ultimate Member – Settings – General – Pages. Could you send me screenshot of this page?(please erase or blur all data that is confidential on the screenshot).

    Regards.

    Thank you for your response.
I’ve checked all the pages and they are assigned correctly.

Yes, I’m redirected from Account page to a User page, when I update information in tab “Informazioni Aggiuntive” (screenshot attached). This redirection is started after update of Ultimate Member plugin, before that update there was a simple success message, just as it should be, without no any redirect.

I’ve tried to see if this scenario will repeat in another tab, like default tab “Account” and there were no any redirects, just a normal behavior, always with a success message.

Since the tab “Informazioni aggiuntivi” was a custom one, created with a plugin “Ultimate Member – Account tabs”, I went to the page of this plugin (https://github.com/umdevelopera/um-account-tabs) and saw that there is an update, which wasn’t indicated on WordPress dashboard — Plugins list.
So I updated this plugin and I saw from the link that you don’t provide support for this plugin.
Anyway after updating “Ultimate Member – Account tabs” finally there is no redirect to User page, even if there is still no success message, but now its at least acceptable.
I’m describing it here just in case that maybe it will be useful for someone.
