    hi,
    In Paid membership pro, the initial payment through PAYPAL EXPRESS is working properly and Auto renewal is not working. In Paypal standard recursion is working properly. we would like to know the difference between Paypal Express and Paypal standard and why Auto renewal is not working properly in express.

    What is not working exactly for recurring orders?

    PayPal Express may handle things slightly different from PayPal Standard, are you using the same PayPal API details as you were using on PayPal Standard?

    we are getting IPN response for recursion payment when we use Paypal standard, but if we use Paypal Express not able to retrive the IPN response.

    Through Paypal Express Mode,

    if we set IPN URL manually in business account, we are able to retrive IPN response. Please check the following link.

    (sandbox.payapl.com -> Go to Profiles –> My Selling Tools, and click on “Update” next to the IPN Settings.)

    but if we try to retrive response through plugin, it’s not working.

    let me explain how we do the recurring payment,

    when we do first( initial) payment, we are sending 2 requests,
    No.1- for making the first payment, — no issues in this.
    No.2- request for recursive profile creation for auto monthly payment. – The profile is created but we are not getting IPN response.

    for No.2,
    We followed your support document, when we use the IPN notification URL in merchant PayPal account, we are getting the response. But when we use the same URL in your plugin we don’t get any response.

    This happens only in PayPal Express. Do you recommend to use PayPal standard?

    Can you please help us to solve this issue, due to this error we couldn’t go LIVE.
