# Recursion error

 * I am running a multi-site Network for a client. I haven updated to the latest
   version because when i tried we were on 3.9 Smith and I encuntered issues, briefly
   any pre-existing links to my sites that included www. ceased to work, and there
   were many, so I used blogVault’s excellent plugin to re-instate the 3.8.3 version.
 * All has been well and I intend to upgrade once the client chills out a bit and
   I’m certain the issue has been fixed in this latest release.
 * However I now have recursion errors, I received this from my host Digital Pacific.
 * ==========================
    Our monitoring system detected that the domain ‘————–‘
   is still producing internal recursions :
 * May 21 12:08:03 httpd[306908]: [error] [client ———–] Request exceeded the limit
   of 5 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’
   to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace.,
   referer: ———————–
    May 21 12:08:03 httpd[306908]: [error] [client 110.33.143.173]

 * Has anyone encountered this? Is it because I have more than 5 sites perhaps? 
   I’m running 8.
